Five albums i'm currently listening to...
1.Florence & The Machine- Ceremonials
I was eagerly awaiting the return of Flo & The Machine, so my expectations for this album were particularly high. Luckily the album met my expectations and i'm totally in love with it! Not better than 'Lungs' but quite a good successor with tracks 'What The Water Gave Me', 'Only If For A Night','No Light No Light' and the drum heavy 'Shake It Off'.
2.Coldplay- Mylo Xyloto
I am the biggest Coldplay fan and i'm not ashamed to admit it. I've been a fan of their work since their first album 'Parachutes' and they're probably my favourite band. Mylo Xyloto is quite different from the other Coldplay albums but still just as good. More synths and 'poppy' beats are on this record but still has the Coldplay flare that I know and love. Favourite tracks are 'Paradise' 'Charlie Brown' 'Major Minus' and 'Hurts Like Heaven'.
3.J Cole- Cole World: Sideline Story
Been a fan of J Cole since his 'Friday Night Lights' mixtape, and i've been looking forward to this album since then. Although it's not as good as the mixtape, I can still listen to this album from start to finish and enjoy every second of it. Best tracks for me are 'Nobody's Perfect' 'Dollar & A Dream III' and 'Rise and Shine'.
4.Friendly Fires- Pala
One of my favourite albums of the year! Every song on 'Pala' is brilliant but 'Hawaiian Air' and 'Show Me Lights' have to be my favourite.
5.Lykke Li- Wounded Rhymes
Although this album was released in February, I only caught onto Lykke Li around June, and discovered 'Wounded Rhymes'. My favourite song has to be 'Jerome'.

Freja...
Just some über cool images of my favourite model. Looking forward to seeing what ad campaigns Freja will book for spring/summer 2012, since Chanel is officially out of the window...

When Physics Meets Art...
A series of artwork from Caleb Charland depicting how art and science can draw together and intertwine. While i'm hardly a science buff, I found something intriguing about these images and how two things so different can produce something quite impressive. Well they do say opposites attract...

Must Watch: Martha Marcy May Marlene
With my obsession over Elizabeth Olsen growing by the day, i'm eagerly anticipating to watch her movie, 'Martha Marcy May Marlene'. The movie centres around Olsen's character- a haunted woman who has escaped a cult, and her abusive memories and increasing paranoia makes it difficult for her to re-assimilate with her family.
The film looks moving, intriguing and from the trailer a little creepy! Check out the trailer below:

Jourdan Dunn & Saskia De Brauw for I-D Winter 2011
I'm currently in love with Jourdan Dunn's I-D cover! I-D's covers usually always impress me, but this cover has simply blown me away. The simplicity of it, with the bold pops of colour remind me of old issues of The Face, and Jourdan just looks stunning. Saskia De Brauw's cover on the other hand...
I'm not the biggest fan of Ms. De Brauw's look, and I feel this cover does her no favours. With her rather muscular jaw line and 'androgynous' look, it would have been refreshing to see her in a softer cover (a la Jourdan's) rather than an 'edgy' harsh black and white image.
